The Social Media Manager leads the production and curation of content for various social media channels to support Terakeet marketing and brand-building initiatives. The Social Media Manager reports directly to the Director of Marketing.

Develop and execute social media campaigns that align with and amplify the overall marketing strategy
Set KPIs for social media campaigns and report on progress
Leverage various multimedia formats (text, video, infographic, quote cards, graphics, etc.) to diversify content types and increase engagement
Atomize existing content assets into digestible “chunks” for use on social networks
Work with advertising team to develop PPC campaigns that align with key marketing objectives and track ROAS
Manage social media content calendar and coordinate with other marketing team members to strategically execute multi-channel campaigns
Evaluate new platforms and features to recommend which sites and channels the company should engage with
Review social content for consistency, accuracy, adherence to style and brand standards, and user experience implications
Establish strong cross-departmental relationships to ensure content is on-brand, relevant, and accurately representing the broad expertise of our teams and employees
Maintain design and branding of social media accounts to ensure cover photos, profile images and descriptions are updated and representative of our brand
Analyze Terakeet’s social following and provide recommendations for how to continue advancing our target audience through the marketing funnel
Stay up-to-date with current social media technologies, trends, design tools and applications

Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills
Three or more years of professional work experience managing social media profiles for a B2B company
Skilled in creating compelling, concise copy designed to engage and acquire followers
Excellent grammar, writing, copy-editing, and communication skills, including the ability to adapt writing style to appeal to different audiences and adhere to established brand voices
Strong understanding of how social media content can and should impact the larger marketing strategy
Ability to create multimedia content (take photos, record and edit videos, graphic design)
Ability to work autonomously and produce high-quality work
Versatile research skills and enthusiasm for learning about new topics.
Familiarity with social media publishing and monitoring tools, to aid in production and reporting
Knowledge of topics related to Terakeet’s business such as SEO, digital marketing, content strategy, brand management, etc.
Sound judgement of what content aligns with brand guidelines and an ability to identify when something might be misaligned or harmful to the brand
