Own Your Craft, Be Dedicated to the Direction
“We’ve had an institution-wide desire to utilize AI responsibly in all aspects of our jobs; as such, the engineering team has been adopting numerous different tools, with varying degrees of success,” said Head of Technical Architecture Craig Waterman. “To help ensure the entire team had the best chance of success, he rolled out two complete sets of tools: An AI skills marketplace built on top of Claude that shares a massive cross-system pipeline debugging mechanism allowing anyone in Engineering to troubleshoot our entire infrastructure and all our databases. In addition, he also built out complete documentation for installing all the wiring under the hood to get our AI systems connected (safely and read-only) to all our third-party systems.
“He not only took it upon himself to build these systems out, but to contemplate security ramifications, how our engineering team would work with the tools, and then ran separate 1-on-1 Zooms with every member of Engineering (and some folks adjacent), to ensure everyone could access the same set of tools, driving adoption to 100% across the board. These tools are fast becoming a staple of how we operate on a daily basis, and they were just the beginning.
“His drive to lift up the entire team is second to none, that’s only a single example of months of absolute dedication putting the team first, while still managing to be one of the highest performing members of that same team.”

“Lauren consistently elevates our content strategy and turns ambiguous project goals into compelling, cohesive narratives,” said Director of Delivery Execution Elizabeth Wasmund. “Lauren’s ability to approach client needs with a creative, strategic mindset is invaluable to her teams.
“A standout example of this occurred during the kickoff of a large-scale program for a unique client. As part of a three-person team, Lauren crafted a comprehensive content strategy and developed new delivery workflows that directly aligned with the client’s objectives, demonstrating clear impact in an exceptionally short timeframe. Beyond her strategic contributions, Lauren’s collaborative spirit and willingness to jump into any challenge—whether supporting team coverage or navigating uncharted creative territory—uplift everyone around her. She is a vital asset to our team.”
