Terakeet Employee Reviews: Reflections on 2025

Editor's Note

In the marketing world, it is easy to measure a year by the work alone. the strategy shifts, the product launches, and the client wins. And 2025 certainly had plenty of those. We redefined ourselves as a leader in Reputation Management. We embraced AI across our offerings and technology. We built new tools from the ground up.

But when we asked our team what actually defined their year in our recent culture survey, the answers went beyond KPIs. Employees said Terakeet's culture was about support, collaboration, and autonomy. It was built on the quiet moments of support, the freedom to be present for their families, and the genuine friendships that grew alongside the work.

Before we head out for Terakeet's annual holidays shutdown here is a look at what it really felt like to work at Terakeet in 2025, told entirely through the voices of our team.

What is Terakeet’s company culture like?

In a remote-first world, it is easy for work to become transactional. But looking through our team’s feedback, the strongest theme of 2025 was connection. It’s the refusal to let “remote” mean “distant.”

Morgan Mihill, our Director of Sales Operations & Strategy, summed up this sentiment when she said:

We took the time to recognize the ‘human’ in each other.

“The relationships I’ve built with individuals both on my direct team and across the company are what I find most fulfilling. I firmly believe that taking the time to simply be a human (sharing personal life details, bonding over pop culture, etc.) helps make the work day even more rewarding and encourages us to be more resilient in the face of change. Having been here over nine years, I’m proud to call multiple colleagues close friends because we took the time to recognize the ‘human’ in each other.”

One of the things we are most proud of this year is how our flexibility supported this culture, allowing employees to show up for the moments that matter outside of the office.

For Jen Keem, our VP of Portfolio of Performance, the ability to balance a demanding career with parenthood was a defining part of her 2025 experience:

“I honestly don’t know how I could fully show up for my kids and all their activities without the flexibility and ability to work remotely. It’s not just that day-to-day life is easier; I also believe that for my kids, having their mom home to greet them after school and listen to their highs and lows will make a meaningful difference for their future selves.”

Tom Boyle, a Sr. Project Manager, echoed that feeling, noting that autonomy is the key to making it work:

“The ability to work from home and flex hours as needed is very important for parents with young children. Terakeet allows this, and I feel empowered to make decisions about my schedule while ensuring my work is completed on time and my clients and teams are happy.”

I feel empowered to make decisions about my schedule.

Does Terakeet create room for innovation?

2025 was a year of “industriousness”—a theme perfectly captured by one employee in a survey for our annual Culture Book. We watched our teams focus on Reputation Management as our core offering with a builder’s mindset.

We saw this in the way Sr. Brand Marketing Analyst Jonas Sickler described the freedom to experiment:

I love having the freedom to pursue new projects.

“I love having the freedom to pursue new projects. There’s nothing better than tinkering to invent something, and then watching folks across the organization get value from my work.”

It was also evident in how our teams rallied together to solve problems. Sr. Marketing Manager Pat Lane highlighted how this spirit of innovation brought people together:

“Terakeet’s people are incredibly innovative, and we support each other through challenges to come up with unique solutions. Being part of a team that is able to evolve and embrace new technologies is incredibly exciting and fulfilling.”

How does Terakeet support professional growth?

Finally, 2025 was a year of personal growth. Whether it was learning a new skill, taking on a new role, or simply learning how to lead better, our people didn’t stand still.

Director of Engineering Jason Montilla shared how cross-departmental collaboration helped him grow as a leader this year:

“I have had more opportunities to work with a varied group of people this year. I have worked with senior management, the data team, the software team, the product team, and the project team with different needs to fill depending on the team and the day. I feel like I am a better leader because of these experiences.”

What’s in store for 2026?

As we look toward the new year, we are carrying this energy with us. We are proud of the work we do, but we are prouder of how we do it: with grit, with excellence, and with a deep respect for one another.

Our COO Kim Heffernan put it best:

“At Terakeet, our people are the heart of everything we do. Many of our strongest programs were built from their feedback, and we’re committed to continuing to evolve, learn, and innovate together.”

If you are looking for a place where you are trusted to lead, encouraged to innovate, and supported by a team that actually cares, we’d love to meet you— but maybe next year.

From our team to yours, we wish you a restful holiday season. We’ll see you in 2026.
