Read on to learn more about the challenges we're tackling, our vision, and the impact you can have.

Why we’re building out our team

Terakeet is at a pivotal moment in its evolution. As we continue to expand our capabilities in Owned Asset Optimization (OAO) and brand management, we are investing heavily in our technology team to scale innovation, improve automation, and deliver even greater impact for our customers.

We’re not just growing for growth’s sake — we’re building a team that will shape the future of search marketing, generative AI optimization, and online brand visibility.

What’s driving the expansion of Terakeet’s tech team right now?

The digital landscape is shifting rapidly, and Terakeet is leading the way in how brands establish authority in search and AI-driven discovery. To stay ahead, we’re evolving our tech stack, expanding our data-driven insights, and building next-generation platforms that help brands adapt to changes in search, AI, and consumer behavior. This requires adding specialized engineers, data scientists, and product innovators who are motivated by problem-solving and innovation.

How has the role of technology evolved within Terakeet over the past year, and how do you see it continuing to evolve?

Over the past year, technology has moved from being a supporting function to a core driver of our business. We’ve significantly increased our investments in AI, data infrastructure, and automation to improve insights and scalability.

Moving forward, our technology will continue to evolve into an end-to-end platform that enables real-time analysis, predictive modeling, and AI-powered content optimization.

What are some of the most exciting challenges new team members will get to work on?

New team members will tackle large-scale data engineering challenges, develop AI-driven insights for brand management, and build systems that process millions of data points in real time.

Whether it’s optimizing brand visibility in search or leveraging AI to predict market shifts, our team is solving complex problems that directly impact the world’s largest brands and enrich the lives of their customers.

Can you share a recent example of how our tech team made a major impact on the business?

One of our most significant advancements has been the expansion of our Total Addressable Market (TAM) and Keyword & Topic Clustering (KTC) technology. By leveraging AI-driven modeling and automation, we’ve transformed how brands identify, prioritize, and optimize their digital opportunities.

Our platform enables brands to map their competitive landscape with greater precision, predict the impact of new content, and refine their strategies based on real-time insights. This has empowered our customers to make data-driven decisions with confidence, driving measurable growth in organic visibility and customer engagement.

How do you and Terakeet’s leadership team approach scaling a tech team while maintaining a strong culture and innovation mindset?

We believe that scale and culture are not mutually exclusive and that organizational growth can come in many forms. We empower our teams with autonomy, invest in continuous learning, and foster an environment where experimentation and innovation thrive. Maintaining a culture of curiosity and problem solving is key to sustaining our momentum.

What role do AI and automation play in our technology strategy, and how does it complement human expertise?

AI and automation allow us to scale insights, predict trends, and optimize brand visibility at a level that would be impossible manually. However, we believe that human expertise is irreplaceable.

Our approach pairs AI-driven analysis with deep industry knowledge to ensure that insights are not only data-backed but strategically sound.

Macro changes in tech, marketing, and consumer behavior

What shifts in the tech industry make this an exciting time for companies like Terakeet?

Search is no longer just about keywords — it’s about information retrieval, AI-generated responses, and predictive consumer engagement.

The rise of LLM-powered search tools and the increasing complexity of brand visibility in AI-driven environments make this a perfect time for Terakeet’s expertise to shine.

We are building the infrastructure that will define how brands navigate this future. Anyone joining this team will have a hand in shaping what that future looks like.

How are changes in marketing — such as AI, privacy regulations, and search tools — shaping the need for online brand management?

Brands can no longer rely on paid media alone to reach their audiences. AI-generated responses, stricter privacy regulations, and shifting search behaviors mean that owned digital assets are more critical than ever.

Terakeet helps brands optimize these assets to maintain visibility, trust, and engagement across evolving digital ecosystems.

How have consumer behaviors evolved in recent years, and how does our technology uniquely address those changes?

Consumers expect personalized, immediate, and authoritative answers, often without ever clicking on a traditional search result.

Our technology is built to help brands win in this new paradigm by ensuring they are recognized as trusted sources in AI-generated content, search engines, and beyond.

What’s one underestimated or overlooked industry trend that you believe will be crucial in the next few years?

The shift from search engines to AI-driven discovery platforms is happening faster than most brands realize. While many companies are still focused solely on traditional SEO, we are actively building the technology to optimize for AI-generated search results and positioning our clients ahead of the curve.

How do we ensure our technology remains adaptable in such a fast-changing landscape?

Adaptability is built into our DNA. We constantly iterate, test, and refine our platforms based on real-time data and emerging trends. By maintaining a modular and scalable architecture, we can rapidly adjust to industry shifts without losing momentum.

What’s one aspect of Terakeet’s tech stack or platform that most excites you personally?

Our ability to measure, predict, and influence how brands appear in AI-generated responses is a game changer. No other company is tackling this challenge with the same depth of data and strategic insight. The work we’re doing today will define the future of digital brand management.

Job seeker considerations: career growth, culture, and innovation

What types of technical skills or mindsets thrive within Terakeet’s engineering team? What soft skills?

Success at Terakeet requires a mix of technical expertise and problem-solving ability. We look for engineers who are comfortable with large-scale data operations, Python/Django development, and AI/ML integration.

On the soft skills side, curiosity, adaptability, and collaboration are key. We solve problems together and constantly challenge ourselves to think bigger.

How does Terakeet support ongoing learning and foster a culture that promotes innovation?

We invest in our team’s growth through mentorship, skill development, and hands-on opportunities to work with cutting-edge technologies.

Whether it’s through internal knowledge-sharing, attending industry conferences, or experimenting with new tools, we create an environment where learning and innovation thrive.

Innovation is encouraged across the organization, from workflow efficiencies to fully scaled custom AI models, everyone at Terakeet is encouraged to experiment and participate in authoring the future of our solutions.

What can a new hire expect in their first 90 days at Terakeet?

The first 90 days are about making connections and immersion — meeting our teams, exploring our remote environment, understanding our technology, and contributing to real projects. New hires can expect a structured onboarding process, access to mentorship, and opportunities to make an immediate impact.

I would also encourage engagement in our internal communication channels and community groups, which promote knowledge sharing, informal discussions, local meet-ups, and a sense of community in our remote setting.

What’s one thing about working at Terakeet that candidates might not expect but should be excited about?

We are solving some of the most complex and forward-looking problems in digital brand management, but we do it in an environment that values flexibility, autonomy, and collaboration.

Our culture blends high performance with strong support, making Terakeet a place where people can grow, take risks, and build something truly innovative.

What candidates might not expect, but should be excited about, is the breadth of options there are among those communications channels I just mentioned.

For example, you can come chat with me and many others in our Slack AI exchange. It’s a space where Terakeet employees can discuss AI news and trends, use cases, and ideas in real time together. These channels help us flatten the organization and offer opportunities for everyone to get involved.
