The mission/vision of this role is to be the people manager/craft skills developer for the sake of consistent delivery in alignment with Terakeet Product and industry best practices. This role is responsible for overseeing onboarding and conducting regular 1:1 check-ins, performance conversations and career conversations with their reports. Managers QA the work produced by their reports for overall quality, adherence to best practices and strategic alignment with the Objective Key Results for the project. Managers have a part in developing deliverable and process documentation, onboarding materials, participation in department initiatives and other “working on the business” activities. Lastly they have some time built in to be directly allocated as an Individual Contributor on projects.
The UX Manager reports to the Director of UX, Design + Web.

Assist in creation of Program Objectives for new accounts.
Build and execute UX strategy that aids in the achievement of OKR's.
Analyze customer website user tracking data to inform identifying opportunities for improvement.
UX Assessments of customer websites in collaboration with Tech dept, and reporting on progress against recommendations in those assessments.
Work collaboratively with customer teams to assess competitors, propose functionality and set overall strategy.
Wireframing recommended updates to customer web pages.
Assist in cross-functional page-level audits.
Conduct design thinking workshops with customer teams.
Build and maintain positive and collaborative relationships across Terakeet disciplines and with customer-side teams.
Experience with Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) ideation, proposal of experiments, evaluation and iteration based on results.
Prioritize UX recommendations and experiments by impact and level of effort.
Recruitment (interviews), if applicable.
Weekly 1:1s (Direct reports - IC’s) for constructive feedback and resolving conflicts.
Monthly Performance / Career Conversations, 9-box and 4-box grid assessments.
Development of high performing teams/culture.
Process implementation, cascading communication & improvement from Opex.
Assist HR / training managers with creation of onboarding materials.
QA of work produced by direct reports.
Active coaching through client work related to craft development and ongoing performance development.
Time card management, utilization management, PTO approval.
Contributions to CSB, new templates and processes that add value to Growth and Risk offerings.

Additional Requirements/Must Haves
Must have 5-7 years of UX/CRO experience at an SEO or design agency, with at least 3 years of people management.
Experience with Adobe Analytics + Adobe Target preferred.
Proven team leadership qualities, including the ability to offer positive reinforcement, hold others accountable and provide constructive criticism when appropriate.
Develops proactive positive relationships with peers within different parts of the organization. Actively supports information-sharing across business levels, functions and organizational boundaries.
