Provides technical and craft expertise to cross-functional collaborators and individual contributors, with the intention of driving consistency in delivery across teams in alignment with TK Product and industry best practices. Actively develops and nurtures talent from individual contributors.
Develops the team by regularly meeting with direct reports (weekly 1:1s, career and performance reviews, helping to resolve conflicts, addressing concerns, identifying opportunities for growth, etc.)
Ensures development aligns with TK values and fosters behaviors that have a positive impact on the TK culture
Works with talent recruitment to interview potential candidates for content roles
Drives performance through routine assessment and analysis on time-to-completion for content deliverables
Oversees time card completion,PTO approval, utilization management
Regular reviews current processes to determine where improvements could be made to better support the team on the ground
Develops new processes, templates, and documentation to support the craft
Delivers cascading communication to ensure teams have accurate and clear information with regard to department/company news, initiatives, etc.
Provides active coaching through client work related to craft development and ongoing performance development
Coaching opportunities may be identified by the Client SME, who may determine areas for improvement or increased training based on QA
The Manager will be responsible for developing a plan to improve performance and working closely with the Strategist to ensure the quality of work is meeting standards
Stays current on content marketing best practices and techniques, as well as all trends in order to coach their team on effective and engaging web content
