Essential Functions

The SEO Manager provides technical and craft expertise to (Sr.) SEO Analyst(s) to drive consistency in delivery in alignment with TK Product and industry best practices. The SEO Manager actively develops and nurtures talent from individual contributors.

  • Precise understanding of Terakeet product offerings and the steps associated with how our teams execute to achieve client outcomes
  • Manages & develops the Terakeet Technical SEO craft by ensuring product quality assurance across Analyst outputs
  • Strive to achieve department time-to-proficiency efforts through effective onboarding and training with new hires to the team
  • Manages a team of (Sr.) SEO Analysts through regular performance assessments and career conversations, identify the need for corrective action measures and provide positive and constructive feedback regularly
  • Manages internal Customer Success Blueprint (CSB) for focus area (risk/growth/TK Ventures) by consistently ensuring it is reflective of current execution best practices

Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree required - Concentration in Marketing or a related field is preferable
  • 2-4 years of professional work experience in a related role with exposure to how marketing campaigns impact natural search visibility
  • Proven team leadership qualities, including the ability to offer positive reinforcement, hold others accountable and provide constructive criticism when appropriate
  • Comfortable working with a variety of different personalities
  • Ability to tailor management approach based on individual needs
  • Keen attention to detail is essential to ensure thoroughness, accuracy, and consistency when assessing client outputs by team members
  • Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking methods
  • Experience deriving technical insight from Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and directly from SERPs
  • Knowledge of technical, usability, and content-related aspects of a website and their impact on search
  • Proven ability to interact successfully with cross-functional teams and build collaborative relationships
